We have launched a powerful counter narrative series of six research-based dramas addressing the critical issues of immigration, climate change, and conspiracy theories. These films are currently being disseminated across social media and presented to senior European government and police leaders to build resilience against mis- and disinformation.
This is the first project of its kind to research and address the specific radicalisation risks within the 45-65 age range on social media. Telling important stories, helping people learn.

‘Chatanna’ Podcast Show

By adopting the podcast format often used by far-right groups, #ChatAnna strategically engages audience through diverse, evidence-based perspectives on immigration, climate change, and conspiracies. The series is presented as standalone, subject-specific podcasts with social media cuts, while also offering the option to view all three together as a podcast show.
‘A Family Tea Drama’

This research-led drama features a powerful three-person performance exploring a mother’s descent into far-right ideologies and the fracturing effect her radicalisation has on the family. By presenting these identifiable scenarios, the film serves as an intervention that challenges at-risk audiences to reflect on the narratives they are fed.
‘Brain Box’ Game Show

This high-energy TV-style quiz dismantles far-fetched conspiracies through a “True or False” approach, using AI visual techniques to teach viewers how to spot manipulated graphs and digital tricks. The “Brain Box” show specifically aims to build digital literacy for the audience.
‘Horse Guard Parade’ News Report

This satirical sketch features a comedy reporter stubbornly denying the climate crisis while delivering a “business as usual” update from flooded Horse Guards Parade. Mirroring SMIDGE research on the effectiveness of humor, the film uses absurdity, and AI-driven illustration to challenge the gap between online myths and climate change realities.
