The Language of Lying, produced for the Open University, has been shortlisted for the prestigious MEDEA Awards. In a world saturated by opinion, the film asked what constitutes a lie, and explored the role of lying within public life. We’re delighted to be shortlisted and for the film to be internationally recognised.
The MEDEA Awards looks for innovation in the use of media (including audio, video, graphics and animation) in education. These annual awards recognise and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich learning resources and bring to the forefront those producers, designers and teaching staff who provide such inspiration to the global educational community.
The 2020 Awards Ceremony will take place during two webinars in October 2020:
- Thursday 1 October 14:00 – 15:00 (CEST): Introduction to the finalists and launch of the public poll to find the audience favourite. Join the webinar here.
- Wednesday 28 October 14:00 – 15:00 (CET): announcement of the winner of the 2020 Awards as well as the audience favourite. The awards to the winner will be made in person. The MEDEA Awards 2021 will also be launched during this webinar. Join the webinar here
