The Language of Protest won Bronze in the Education and Training category at this year’s EVCOM Clarion Awards. The Clarions celebrate cause-driven film, live events and experiences. Produced for The Open University, the film studies the use of communication strategies within grassroots activism. Our thanks go to Extinction Rebellion for working with us to bring the film’s message alive for students.
In EVCOM’s words: ‘The judges were incredibly impressed by the standard of the entries they reviewed, commenting on the creativity exhibited by the entries, as well as a clear passion for creating work that makes an impact. As the world reels from the impact of a global pandemic, it is inspiring to see that within our industry, there is a clear commitment to cause-driven excellence. ‘
Due to current restrictions the ceremony was streamed live for the first time. Virtual glasses were raised and we had a great time. Thanks go to EVCOM for a great night!
