Drama for The Open University's Social Work undergraduate course.
A real life social worker and barrister meet for the first time on set to respond to a fictitious case, provided to them a day before the shoot. Dynamics of family and the made-up case history had to be 100% realistic. Social work practices needed to be completely accurate. To ensure the social work practices were completely accurate, we sourced a social worker from the specialist area. Incredible value for money was achieved.
“The courtroom video is very engaging. Great editing and the storyline works very well. Kathy our real life social worker comes across very well, and despite the difficult questioning by the barrister she does a good job to put forward the local authority’s case.”
